Timeline:
June 2023
Together Cheyenne County/ Tri-Angle Park TAP was granted $2,500 from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation Community Grant Fund for Cheyenne County. They were also awarded $2,500 from the St. Francis New Generation Fund. These funds will help begin phase 2 of this multi-phase project.
In August 2023, Scott and Keesha Lesuer approached the Tri-Angle Park (TAP) organizers, we assumed they were wondering what was going on because they live just across the street from the location of TAP. They then shocked us by saying they wanted to donate the equipment and services for the demolition and earthwork. Their donation allowed us to finish Phase One, in October of 2023.
September 2023
In late August, the first fundraiser was run to raise funds for the park.
By the beginning of September, over $6,000 had been raised through donations and fundraisers.
The idea for TAP started in the beginging of June 2023
Ground broken on 10-7-2023
Between the beginning of September and the end of December, there were 8 more fundraisers.
